News & Announcements

All members have been sent an email explaining a new website feature. Under the Membership section of the site is a new page called Exhibitor and Awards Administration that lets members check which shows they've been accepted into, which paintings were accepted, any awards they received, and how many award points they've earned.

This new page will help potential Signature and Signature Master candidates check their qualifications. It will also help artists submitting to our shows check to see if the painting they're considering entering has been accepted previously and is therefore ineligible for consideration.

We hope you find this new page helpful!  Enjoy!

TaiMeng's Second Place award for his painting titled "Koiful Play" in the 9th Annual International Society of Acrylic Painters Open International Online Exhibition gave him enough award points to reach Signature Master status in the Society. Way to go TaiMeng!!!

To learn more about Signature and Signature Master status within the Society, be sure to visit our Membership page or our bylaws.

There are several other Signature members who are very close to achieving Signature Master status. Keep entering your best in our shows in hopes of winning awards and reaching our highest honor.

    Hi all,

The 9th Annual ISAP Open International Online show is now live on the website for viewing. To see the show and award winners, click on Exhibitions, 2018, and 9th Annual Open International. Our juror, Jan Martin McGuire, chose a beautiful, diverse show and we thank her for that. She also had works which, while not award winners, she felt must be recognized as outstanding. You'll see these works listed on the exhibition page as well. Thank you to all who submitted works to the show. The number of entries was high so selection was more difficult for the juror.

    Hi all,

In the interim, I've extended the deadline for show submissions to Sunday, August 5. Please click the link in the previous post to enter the show.

    Hi all,

The deadline to submit your artwork to the 9th Annual ISAP International Open Online exhibition is August 1. Mark your calendars.

Also, Artwork Archive, one of our supporters, has created a new call for entry page on their site. Our call is listed as well as many other exhibitions you may be interested in. Check it out. Here's what Artwork Archive has to say...

Artwork Archive has spent nearly a decade building a thriving community of artists and generating informative resources to help artists excel in their careers. There are a lot of great resources out there for calls, but it can be challenging to find opportunities that are relevant. We wanted to create something that made it easier for artists to find what they are looking for. Artists will find a curated list of workshops, retreats, exhibitions, grants and more.
