The International Society of Acrylic Painters

Welcome!

Our mission was to represent and encourage artists using acrylic media and to promote the use of acrylic by painters worldwide.

NOTICE:

As of December 31, 2020, the Board and members of the International Society of Acrylic Painters voted to disband the Society. ISAP has a 25 year history of which we can be very proud. While the Society will no longer exist, we have arranged an endowment with the Kenosha Public Museum in Kenosha, WI to host a biennial exhibition of acrylic painting. The museum already has a reputation for hosting world-class art exhibitions. They have hosted the annual exhibition of the Transparent Watercolor Society of America for approximately 10 years. They are very excited to continue our mission of showcasing acrylic painting as a major art medium.

Thank you for your support over the years...

In support of our mission ISAP hosted two core shows each year:

  • A members only online event.
  • An international open online event.
  • At times, a third online event open to members and non-members.

The public wasinvited to participate in all open events.  All events were promoted and are showcased on our website.
